What is CyanogenMod ? - Cyanogenmod, is an open source OS or operating system anyone can develop and change this OS. Cyanogenmod operating system specifically for smartphones, android based tablets, cyanogenmod can also be called CM and cyanogenmod version pretty much I will write below. The cyanogenmod project aims to make a change to the original android program code from google. I do not know why Steve Kondik made this one project

History of Cyanogenmod
CyanogenMod first released in 2009 as an alternative Android for HTC Dream, this is the early days of Android. HTC Dream is the first Android device to enjoy commercial release in 2008, which makes CyanogenMod practically as old as the android's. The first version of Cyanogen was created by developers under the name JesusFreke. but in 2009, he stopped the project and recommended that users switch to a version that has been further modified by one user named Cyanogen AKA Steve Kondik. And that's where Cyanogenmod comes along.Is Cyanogenmod Project keep running?
In 2016, Cyanogen, Inc. announced that it would shut down its Cyanogen service. Steve Kondik soon left the company and blamed co-founder and CEO of Kirt McMaster for the failure of the business.
